SOLA's response to the COVID-19 outbreak.

Updated: September 1, 2020.

Today I want to share with you the latest details of SOLA’s response to the COVID-19 outbreak.

As some of you know, in March the Afghan government mandated the closure of schools in Kabul and throughout Afghanistan; this extension currently runs through September. SOLA is abiding by this directive: we intend to conduct all classes remotely for the 2020 school year.

We continue to advise our students and staff on effective techniques of social distancing – and though these are such uncertain times, we’re looking forward to the day when we’ll all be reunited on our campus.

To our friends in Afghanistan and around the world – to each one of you reading this now: please stay safe, stay healthy, and stay confident. As someone who has had to navigate uncertainty all her life, trust me when I say: this season will pass. We will see it through together.
